Challenge Events

Our challenge events are a fantastic way to challenge your mind, body and fundraising skills. These events are life-changing not only due to their thrilling and exhilarating nature, but also because they help us to fund our crucial work.

We need you to take a leap of faith and join us on an exciting adventure whether that be running, cycling, swimming or climbing.

School, University and College Fundraising

There are many ways that your educational setting can get involved in raising money and awareness about Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, deafblind children and adults.

Whether it’s fancy-dress day, an art competition, summer fetes, a silent disco or a bake sale, fundraising is a great way for students to learn about people who have different sight and hearing experiences.

Why not:

Choose us as your ‘Charity of the Year’ and strengthen your own community by working together

Donate proceeds from an annual event, such as a summer fete, Christmas disco or bonfire night. We can supply leaflets, collection buckets and tins for your use on the day

Dedicate a non-school uniform or Christmas jumper day to us

Hold a weekly ice-cream or cake-bake sale

Ask us to come and give a short talk or presentation to you at one of your assemblies
